App Manager

Overview​

In this article, you will be introduced to role entitlements of app managers on Apporetum. App managers include Access Provider, Access Approver, and App Owner. You can also find how-to guides on actions you are conducting when you are on the Access main menu page.

Access Provider​

Role Entitlements​

  1. Under Access, you can
  • Click App Members to view users that you manage
  • Click on the user row to view user profile
  • View user memberships relevant to the apps you manage
  1. Under Manage Access, you can

Extend User Access Period​

  1. View the Expiring Soon list
  2. Select the user(s) that you would like to extend access for
  3. Click Extend Access
  4. (optional) Add new Expiry Date
  5. Click Extend Access
  6. Check if the system notification status is successful

Renew User Access​

  1. View the Expired list
  2. Select the user (s) that you would like to extend access for
  3. Click Renew Access
  4. Check if the system notification status is successful

Access Approver​

Role Entitlements​

  1. Under the Access sub-menu, you can
  • Click App Members to view users that you manage
  • Click on the user row to view user profile
  • View user memberships relevant to the apps you manage

  • View the Scheduled Access list
  • View the Expiring Access list
  • View the Expired Access list

Approve a User's Access Request​

  1. View the Approvals for me list
  2. Select the user(s) that you would like to action
  3. Choose Approve or Do Not Approve
  4. Check if the system notification status is successful

Application Owner​

Role Entitlements​

  1. Under Access, you can
  • Click App Members to view users that you manage
  • Click on the user row to view user profile
  • View user memberships relevant to the apps you manage

  • View the Approvals for others list
  1. Under Manage Access, you can
  • View the Scheduled Access list
  • View the Expiring Access list
  • View the Expired Access list

As an app owner, you can conduct more actions on the Apps main menu page

  1. Assign/remove app owners, access providers and/or access approvers, see Configure App Info.

  2. Edit app logo configurations, see Configure App Logo.

  3. Modify email notifications associated with access management events, see Configure App Notification.
