Sync Accounts

Overview​

This is the final step in the process of getting user account information from a disconnected source into Apporetum. The Data Source Sync system is a mechanism for updating Apporetum from a remote data source. Apporetum syncs accounts from data sources daily. You can view the progress of this sync or create a new sync process.

Start Syncing​

  • Click Start Sync to see updates

  • If you have made any changes in Account Type, you will need to click Start Sync to see the up-to-date result.

  • Once the synchronization process finishes, you can click Account Types to view the updated report.

Syncing Schedule​

Sync Accounts is scheduled to begin during off-peak server times which are usually around midnight. However, you can always manually start the sync, which would prioritise it to begin as soon as possible.

This syncing process may take a while, depending on how many records need to be processed and how busy the server is.
